We need you!
We are a group of people interested in promoting recreational and competitive paddling in Muskoka for youth, adults and seniors. With our varied backgrounds, we each bring something to the table. Some of us are beginner paddlers and some have had an extensive competitive paddling career. Our professional experiences are equally varied which has proven to be very beneficial for the club's development. You may come as a guest to a meeting prior to joining the board. We meet once a month.
Creative? Web site and/or slide shows
If you enjoy expressing your creative side, this is a good position for you. The web site has been developed and requires minor updating each winter--programs, costs, new photos. It is important to include & update required information online as needed--policies, programs, contact info...

Post upcoming program registrations and events on Let's Make Bracebridge Great (facebook). |

Equipment ~ Construction, or boat repairs?
Our inventory of boats, paddles, pfds and safety equipment is updated regularly. Our equipment is fully labelled and tracked for insurance purposes. Monitoring the condition of the boats is vitally important to our summer programs. Interested in learning to repair a kayak, or already know a little? We would very much welcome your efforts.

Program coordinator
Oversees program planning, and the summer sessions with our members. The program committee will discuss the past seasons activities and through this input, create programs for next season. This involves youth and adult needs, tracking applicants for each program (maximum numbers depend on the number of boats available) and overseeing/assisting coaching staff.

Grant writing
There are several local, provincial and federal grants that we apply for. Our coaching staff has been paid by these grants which has allowed us to offer a wider variety of programming. We have also received kayaks and the north canoe through other grants. Attention to detail is important--wording, financial facts, our community partners.
