What Is It ? - A casual, no stress weekly group trip, guided by an experienced club volunteer, exploring both familiar and new areas of our region.
Who Is It For ? - Club members and guests ($10 and a signed waiver required) who are able to paddle for 2+ hours at a time for distances of 10+ km
When Is It ? - 10:00am Sundays in June, July and August. Check the schedule and our calendar for trip days. Meet at the designated location at 9:30am.
Do trips run in inclement weather ? - Sometimes mother nature wants to spoil the fun. If Environment Canada is forecasting a 20% or higher chance of thunderstorms, the trip will be cancelled. If there are high winds, or light rain forecast we will likely still paddle, but may change our route. All decisions are left to the discretion of the trip leader. A go or no go decision will be made by 8:00am on the morning of the trip. Those who have indicated that they will be attending will receive an email from the trip leader, and will NOT be posted on our website or social media. When in doubt, check your email before leaving home.
What Do I Need To Bring? - BYOB (Bring your own boat) or use a club boat and gear (must be pre-arranged with club staff), sunscreen, hat, water bottle and snacks or light lunch, and the desire to have lots of fun !
How Much Does It Cost ? - Our guided trips are included in your Muskoka Paddle Club membership.
How Do I Join In On The Fun ? - Call the clubhouse at (705) 801-7971 by Thursday at club closing time and let us know how many people are coming, and what kind of boat they would like to use if you want to use a club boat. We will do our best to accommodate specific boat requests. Details about where to meet if we are starting out from somewhere other than the clubhouse will be provided when you RSVP. If for whatever reason you cant attend after confirming your attendance you must inform the club by calling the clubhouse directly, not the club email.
