SUMMER DAY CAMPS
At the Muskoka Paddle Club Summer Day camp, every day is a new adventure ! Our qualified and enthusiastic camp staff will develop participant confidence, independence, skills, and techniques in kayak, canoe, and stand up paddleboard through fun games on the water, emergency rescue practice, and trips down the Muskoka River. In addition to all the paddling fun, the rest of our days are filled with swimming, hiking on nearby trails, games, learning about our lakes and rivers, crafts, friendship, and more !
Who is this camp for ? - fun loving active kids, ages 8-12 who are already comfortable in the water, be able to swim 50 meters and tread water for 1 minute. No previous paddling experience needed !
When is camp ? - camps run weekly in July and August, Monday through Friday. Drop off is 8:30am to 5:00pm, with early drop off at 8:15am and late pick up at 5:30pm. REGISTRATION FOR 2020 CAMPS IS NOW OPEN ! Week 1 - July 6th to July 10th Week 2 - July 13th to July 17th Week 3 - July 20th to July 24th Week 4 - July 27th to July 31st Week 5 - August 4th to August 7th Week 6 - August 10th to August 14th Week 7 - August 17th to August 21st Week 8 - August 24th to August 28th Where is camp ? - At the Muskoka Paddle Club, Kelvin Grove Park, Bracebridge. Fees - Each 5 day camp weeks are $185.00/week, and 4 camp weeks are $148.00. Additionally, a once seasonally youth membership must be purchased for each camper at a cost of $40.00. Fees are to be paid in full at time of registration to confirm booking. For financial assistance contact Children's Foundation of Muskoka, or District of Muskoka Summer Camp Fund. What's Included ? - Camp fees include a youth membership to the Muskoka Paddle Club for the summer season, so campers can keep the paddling fun going all summer long, with parental supervision. All boats and required safety equipment are provided by the club. What Do Campers Need To Bring ? -lunch, towel, hat, swimsuit, change of clothes, walking shoes, sunscreen, water bottle, and willingness to make new friends and have a lot of fun ! Cancellation Policy - MPC memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Program registration cancellations which are received two weeks prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund less the $50 non-refundable administration fee. No refunds are available within two weeks of the start of camp or program or once the camp or program has started. In the case of injury or illness, a medical certificate must be provided, and refunds will only be offered as program fee credits to be used for a future MPC camp or program registration.
