FUNdamentals ~ Learn to paddle for the fun of it!
FUNdamentals is focused on basic paddling skills, fun, fitness, water safety and participation in order to get out on the water for some fun in the sun! This is non-competitive and no experience is needed.
Skill development & race preparation ~ Let's GO!
Your child already knows the basics. This program is for the returning, or experienced paddler, to further develop their skills. This program prepares the athlete for race regattas through skill development and many fun activities in both kayaks and canoes.
Boats used for lessons during youth paddle sessions are:
Kayaks: recreation, mini-kayaks, K1, mini-kayak tandem (for 2)
Canoes: recreation, C1, C2, war canoe (15 paddlers!)
Location: Kelvin Grove Park (rowing docks), Bracebridge
Summer Schedule (July & August)*
FUNdamentals: Sunday & Thursday evenings (6:30 - 8 pm)
Skill & Race preparation: Monday & Wed. (4:30 - 6 pm)

Program Fees (for 2 evening sessions/week)
1 month (July or August): $125 + youth membership* = $165*
2 months (July & August): $200 + youth membership* = $240*
